About our guides:

We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.

We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Our travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

Currently were using content from: Wikipedia, Wikitravel, World66, Open Streetmaps, DMOZ and Chefmoz

Were big fans of these projects. If you stumble across some inaccurate information in this guide, we would appreciate it if you correct it on the web site of these projects.

Pros and cons of Poland Travel Guide by Triposo app for iPhone and iPad

Poland Travel Guide by Triposo app good for

Detailed maps of all major Polish cities with best attractions right at your fingertips. This app replaced all of my guide books and maps. Works awesome with GPS. Must get if traveling to poland.
Nice graphic effects, high quality app, clear and great information and it works amazingly offline. If your traveling and you cant manage to connect to the internet this app is definitely the best! Five stars!

Some bad moments

I learned a lot of things about my country that I did not know.Thank you, keep up the good work
I wanted to see da Vincis Lady with an Ermine during my one day visit to Krakow. Tripso had a nice write-up including the loacation of the painting, The Czartoryski Musuem. We visited another main site across town, the Castle. Then in afternoon, we went to the museum to see the Lady with an Ermine. When we got to the museum, thre was a huge sign on the front. The museum had been CLOSED FOR A YEAR for renovations, and the Lady with an Ermine (its most important piece) was on view in the Castle. It was too late in the day to get across town again, and pay a second entrance fee, to see the painting in the Castle. I have waited a month after I got home to see if an update showed the location change; that has not happened. Of course, before I left on my trip, I made sure that all my apps had the latest update.
Excellent resource for finding places in Poland. We use this app all the time. They have done the work for you.
Im using many Triposo apps for the different countries Im traveling into this summer. The apps have so much information and great ideas for making this a fantastic trip!
Triposos guide to Poland is quite well researched and handy. Cities like Gdansk, Wroclaw and Krakow are covered pretty well, as well as smaller locations outside of the beaten path, like Kudowa-Zdroj and Zamosc. However, some information is already old. Triposos map of Poland, for example, is already two and a half years outdated, and since then, nearly 1,000 km of new motorways and expressways have been added. Also, the over reliance on Wikivoyage on some articles (ignoring potentially more updated and accurate information from Wikitravel and other sources) can be a little annoying. Triposo should also have its website be more user-friendly, as it frequently will not add information or images from travelers.
Sometimes crashes (after that i skipped reporting many tomes). Sometimes fav stars doesnt reflect in tome, but only after app restat. Not always current state is saved, and u have to go from main program an find city again. New current location icon not always correct.
